What are y’all reading this summer? I’m halfway through The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson, and while I love the vast, world-building genre, it’s feeling a little heavy for summer. (LITERALLY heavy, I think this whole series weighs like 10 lbs.) I need a break, and a smaller book to fit into the pool bag!
I’m looking for some fun, easy, light novels I can read when I’m tired of doomscrolling. 🫠 Something that will make me laugh out loud OR that will totally wreck me and I’ll never be the same (but in the best way.) Love a good fantasy / dragon / fairy book that’s kinda smutty, or historical fiction with strong female protagonist. Hesitant to start another series, unless it’s one you’re confident I’ll be able to read quickly.
What’ve you got for me?? 📚

This isn't a sci fi or fantasy but smutty with a female lead and is a quick fun, funny read that I read on my last Hawaii trip: The List.
